Durango-Silverton Train

We headed South for Presidents' Day weekend this year and took advantage of the "Locals Day" on the Durango-Silverton train. It was worth it. We had a lot of fun and it was a great weekend with the Carters.
Jake and Sarah were in heaven and even Mark had a little fun. :)

Sean on the train.

I had fun with my new zoom lens for some of these...

It was such a beautiful day.

These melt my heart.

Jake was in full form the entire ride.

Of course, Steve got Mark to sleep... and of course, I woke him up when I tried to cover him up off the train.

Sarah fell asleep too. :)

Here we are!
Sometimes, I am still surprised that there are five of us.

And we are really stupid for not taking a picture of the whole gang!

Angi's baby shower

Julie Howell and I threw Angi a baby shower for her sweet twins, Hazel and Tess. It was so much fun and so awesome to celebrate Angi and these sweet girls.

Hazel, with big sisters, Claire and Jane.

Heidi Sorensen

Kim McCann

Kim's so cute, I had to post two pictures of her. :)

Angi's mom, Sherri with Claire.

Judy Tolman and Julie Howell.

Allie Hardy, Becky Huntington, and Teri Camp.

All five of us (and cute Jane). Seriously... these girls have become some of my very best friends. I don't know what I'd without them.

Teresa Evans and Angi.

Hartley.

Amy Coombs, Julie Richards, and Becky Monson.

Tess, the thumb-sucker.

Tiffany Dougher and Leslie-Ann Presbury.

Heather Ashby, Megan Parker, and Kulani and Jessi Hyde.

Angi's sister, Liz with Hartley and Hazel.

This is what awesome looks like. :)

Hazel and Tess

My good friend, Angi is a foster parent to these beautiful girls... she is planning on adopting them and well, it's just the most awesomely amazing thing ever. These twins need her. And she needs them.
I feel lucky to witness some of this greatness. The worlds needs more good stories like this one,

Hazel
