Happy 5th Birthday, Jakey!

Our boy is five years old... We asked our big boy what he wanted to do for his special day and then we delivered Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast, then the train and car museum in Ogden. What a day!

The museum was really impressive. There were a bunch of trains, as well as some awesome old cars and then, of course, the Browning wing was Blaine's dream-come-true.

Oh, Mark. You rock.

A few days after Jake's actual birthday, we hosted his very first friend party. It was really fun. The kids had a lot of fun and party perfection.

We went with an airplane theme. Jake's been pretty into planes and it was fun to see him so excited about everything.

We made little airplanes out of clothespins and popsicle sticks.

Brent was nice enough to stick around and help out with the kids while Blaine was picking up pizzas.

We had a lot of fun playing "pin the propeller on the airplane".

And Blaine is sure smitten with baby Mark.

Happy birthday, Jake!

Jake's first day of pre-school

I don't know when this happened but Jake is in his second year of pre-school and is getting his driver's license any day now. Gosh, I love him. He's loving his new teacher, Miss Melanie, and is doing so well and growing so much. 

Brother Stuff

Jake was already a great big brother, but he just keeps getting better. He's been such a great helper to me and to his little brother too. 

Brothers are awesome.

Jakey's also loving being behind the camera... Good thing too because I have hardly any pictures of Mark and me. :)

Markham's blessing day

Mark's blessing day was pretty great. We were all tan (and tired) from finishing the backyard the day before and we were ready to celebrate out little boy.

Sarah is Three!

Sarah girl had a birthday. She is officially three and is officially wearing her sassy pants. She loves all things girly... especially fluffy skirts, her big girl panties, anything sparkly, and her new earrings. She loves being a "mommy" to her baby brother, and sings the very best made-up lullabies ever.
"Don't be sad... In the morning. Don't be sad... sweet baby. There's no such thing as the Sea Witch." (Hilarious!)
Oh, Sarah. I love you more than I know how to say.

Preschool Zoo Day

For our end of year field trip and the letter Z, we went to Hogle Zoo.
It was awesome and we only lost one kid (Jake)... and only for about a minute. (Still scared me to death!) Anyway, we were missing Lily and Ashleigh, but we had fun anyway.
