I can't help it...

I have so many more important things to blog about (like the birth of my first daughter), but just can't help myself.
Lost is over and while I feel happy and satisfied with the finale, I'm still sad it's done. Needless to say, last night didn't disappoint.

Some favorite moments:

Sun and Jin's ultrasound with Juliet. (Brought me to tears.)
"You mock John's memory by wearing his face, but you aren't him." (Or something like that.)
Locke wiggling his toes after surgery.
Aaron's birth and Claire and Charlie.
Sawyer and Juliet's reunion/recognition. (I was crying like
a little girl.)
The Jack/Locke showdown on the cliffs.
Hurley's acceptance of Jack's place.
Ben's expression when Hurley asked for his help.
The conversation between Jack and his father.
"I missed you so much."
"You're not leaving... just moving on."
Jack lying in the bamboo watching the plane leave the island forever.
The close-up shot of Jack's eye as it closed. (It was a perfect ending.)

I really appreciate that this show was intelligent, meaningful, beautiful to watch, well-acted, and full of philosophy and religion... especially with so much crappy TV out there.

I'll miss you Lost. You rocked my world.

Welcome, BABY!!!

9 lbs. 0 oz.
21 inches long

(Not to worry, there will be plenty more pictures to come! Just a little preview of this sweet, sweet little girl courtesy of Laurel. Alicia and Sarah had a fantastic delivery and {aside from minor exhaustion} are both doing perfectly. How much do you love that little cleft chin and chubby chubby extra chin and cheeks?!! I could eat her already!)

Baby Update:

So, I just got back from the doctor today.
He says I'm more than ready to have this little girl. The induction is set for Tuesday, the 11th-- that is, if I don't go into labor on my own by then.
Hip, hip, hooray!
We can't wait to meet her.

Lee Life. Good Life.

The Lee family reunion at Zermatt was a huge success.
We spent three days and two nights at the Zermatt Resort in Midway and it was awesome.
Thanks Mom and Dad for the amazing weekend. It was a blast... "Painting with Bob Ross" was incredible (yes... we really all painted individual oil paintings to one of Bob's television shows), and this year's "talent show" was more than memorable (although I have no documentation of it... which is actually, probably a good thing. haha).
Anyway, here we go. (Thanks, Megan for the first five stolen pictures.)
...
Why don't I have a single picture of Dad at the resort? Lame.

Matty with all the grand kids. What a great uncle.

I had to take this one from Megan because it's the only one I don't look like I'm suffering from Elephantiasis.

Pretty sisters.

Nannie stole the show. I love this woman.

Pool time!

Brett and Matt were more than happy to pose for some homoerotic pictures. Hilarious.

Yikes!

Daddy and Jakey.

Michelle and Kaiya.

The kiddos in the tub.

Let's bowl, let's bowl, let's rock n' roll.

We were lucky enough to meet this great Zermatt employee who let us ride the carousel for free... even after it was closed for the day.

Kaiya and Michelle.

Scotty.

Laurel.

Matty... this is where it started getting hilarious. And funny.

Isabel and Dee Dee.

My two guys.

Uncle Scott.

One more of Matty. I freaking love this guy.

So when we got back from our extravaganza, we had a big Sunday dinner at our place.

Good times.

Big Boy and Baby Ready

Things around here have been interesting.

We are all waiting {impatiently} for baby sister and have been trying to get everything ready in the meantime.

Blaine and I just can't believe that in the midst of all this chaos, our baby Jake is not such a baby anymore.
He is one big boy and even has the "big boy bed" to prove it. He thinks his bed is pretty cool and we are pretty happy he likes it so much. Getting him to sleep without "walls" consistently has been a process but so far, so good.

Anyway... here are a bunch of pictures documenting our strange journey.

All ready for church in their zoot suits.

Now, that's a handsome boy!

Baby's new digs.

His and Hers.

Baby's first bed.

Detail of Sarah's blanket... made by yours truly.

Both blankets... I made a Jakey blanket too. I am so domestic.
{har har.}

"Big Boy Bed."

Time to fill up this bow board. {Also handmade my moi.}
