I have so many more important things to blog about (like the birth of my first daughter), but just can't help myself.
Lost is over and while I feel happy and satisfied with the finale, I'm still sad it's done. Needless to say, last night didn't disappoint.
Some favorite moments:
Sun and Jin's ultrasound with Juliet. (Brought me to tears.)
"You mock John's memory by wearing his face, but you aren't him." (Or something like that.)
Locke wiggling his toes after surgery.
Aaron's birth and Claire and Charlie.
Sawyer and Juliet's reunion/recognition. (I was crying like
a little girl.)
The Jack/Locke showdown on the cliffs.
Hurley's acceptance of Jack's place.
Ben's expression when Hurley asked for his help.
The conversation between Jack and his father.
"I missed you so much."
"You're not leaving... just moving on."
Jack lying in the bamboo watching the plane leave the island forever.
The close-up shot of Jack's eye as it closed. (It was a perfect ending.)
I really appreciate that this show was intelligent, meaningful, beautiful to watch, well-acted, and full of philosophy and religion... especially with so much crappy TV out there.
I'll miss you Lost. You rocked my world.

Love it. I love that you love it. If you didn't have a newborn, I would have loved if you came to our Lost party. The show was so great and interesting and thought-provoking and like you said-smart. I want to re-watch all the seasons with the end in mind just to notice all the small things I may have missed before. Your baby is beautiful!
I LOVED the "you mock his memory" line (however it went)!! And I loved the whole concept of the "awakenings" too. I heart Lost.

I'm glad there is someone else who watches this show that I know. I bawled my eyes out watching it and just reading your blog made me tear up again. I loved all the things you mentioned plus Sawyer and Juliet recognizing each other and Jack's father opening the door and the light pouring in.

I need to get on the bandwagon and watch beyond season 1....do you happen to own all the seasons? :)
Wow...I would make fun of you if I wasn't so interested in how it turned out. I stopped watching long ago, but I am dying to see how they finished. I'll call for all the good and glorious details.

And Hate Locke. But he might just bug me cuz he kinda has a look that reminds me of....my father in law....is that rude?

It took me a couple of days to admit it...but I didn't love the ending. There! I said it! I was just expecting to feel completely satisfied....and I didn't. I was secretly hoping for something a little more sinister....I know, I know.
