Every year, we say we want to go check out some tide pools... and every year, we don't.
Well this year, Steve took initiative and we made our way to Dana Point.
It was pretty awesome.
There was a cute lady painting this scene right beside me as I took this picture. I figured if it was good enough for her, it was good enough for me.

So pretty! I generally think of myself as a "mountains over beach" girl when I get that question, but your little day trip might make me change my mind. I love these photos!
