Disneyland 2010

I don't know exactly why, but this year's Disney experience was exceptionally awesome.
Maybe it was the surprisingly cool temperatures. Maybe it was the amazingly short lines. Maybe it was the decrease in postpartum hormones and the fact that I really started feeling like myself again. Or, maybe it was just that we were in the
happiest place on earth.
Whatever it was, it has to be said: I love Disneyland. It is magical.

I've been wanting a big family picture by the "C" for years and it just doesn't ever happen. So, here's just the four of us...

...and Steve and Chris.

Baby Sarah.
Or should I say, Baby Blaine Jr.

The boys on the merry-go-round.

I can't tell you how in awe Jake was over this. Lightning and Mater. He was in heaven.

Cute kid.

Blaine and I jumped on this ladybug ride with Jake. It wasn't until we were on it that we realized it was just another version of the teacups. We tried not to think too much about throwing up.

Jake and Poppy.

Jack and Brent on the bug-bumper-cars.

Watching the boys.

We jumped on this one with Markelle, Brent, and Jack. How lame is it that all of us felt sick. I think I am getting old.

Nona and Sarah.

California Adventure.

Handsome boys.
I got in trouble for taking pictures during the ride. Totally worth it.

Markelle snapped these of her Jack man.

Casey Jr's train ride.

This was the only time we could get Jake to wear his ears. I had to take full advantage of it and pulled out the camera.

These are funny boys.

I love how expressive my kid's eyes are.

Steve and Chris stayed with us on the fourth to watch the Disneyland fireworks. It was awesome and completely worth the massive crowds afterward. I swear... getting on the hotel buses that night was a little traumatic. I felt like it was the freakin' Titanic when Chris handed Sarah to me and said, "It's okay. I've got your diaper bag here. We'll get the next bus. It's okay... go ahead."

A (poor) shot of the crowd.

Blaine's aunt Marcie told us about this cute game in Frontier Land. Jake loved making Woody dance.

Daddy and Jakey on Jake's favorite ride, "Small World".

  2. LOVE IT! Totally the happiest place on earth. I went yesterday just to walk around and do some shopping. Glad you found a day that was cool and crowd-less. Makes me happy.

  5. I love your pictures! I am going in October and I can't wait, wait, wait! I am going to make Eva and Alice costume!!! 3 days in Disney and a lunch with the Characters and a Mickey pancake breakfast and the corn dog wagon and a giant pickle and the really good coke that they have at Disneyland!!! Coke won't hurt my baby while I'm at Disneyland right because it's Disneyland and nothing bad can happen there.
