"Auld Lang Syne"

Harry: What does this song mean? For my whole life I don't know what this song means. I mean, "Should old acquaintance be forgot". Does that mean we should forget old acquaintances, or does it mean if we happen to forget them we should remember them, which is not possible because we already forgot them?
Sally: Well, maybe it just means that we should remember that we forgot them or something. Anyway, it's about old friends.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Well, it's all over... Ain't it a drag? I love, love, love Christmas-time. I truly do believe it is "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year"--which makes it pretty depressing once it's over, presents are unwrapped, food is digested, bellies expanded, decorations are down, and loved family gone home. Sad.

For the first time in a decade the Lees were all in Utah this year (minus Bretty, of course), and I think it was pretty successful. Hey, we even had ourselves a good-old-fashioned "White Christmas". Mom outdid herself with our traditional "Funny Santa" gifts, we indulged ourselves in the usual Mexican cuisine on Christmas Eve, Dad read from Luke II, and most of us managed to not get sick until after all the festivities.

It really was wonderful.

Last night's 4:30 am conversation about sick baby:

Tired, sick Mommy: "I told Jake if he stays asleep for the rest of the night I'd buy him a pony."

Tired, sick Daddy: " I'll buy him a freakin' Corvette."

Baby Kaiya Walker

My baby sister, Michelle had her baby girl on December 18th. She is so perfect and so pretty. We love her already.

My mom with her grand-girls.
Isabel is so cute around her little cousins. She is Jake's biggest fan and I'm already jealous of how much she loves Kaiya.

Proud parents. I love this picture. (Well done, Rojo.)

Beautiful baby.

Christmas Wrapping

So, I just saw an Advil commercial starring a woman who wraps Christmas presents for a living. What I wouldn't give to have someone pay me to wrap their presents. I love wrapping Christmas!

Happy Birthday, Ang!
Dottie and I had fun helping Craig throw Ange a party to "rock the ages".
Love you, Ange!
