Jake is SIX!

Jake had been planning this party for at least nine months. A Lego party at the pool/clubhouse. It was worth all the planning and preparation to make it happen for our big six-year-old. Man, I love this Jake. 

Also-- turns out Jake really is a genius. He was finished with his Lego helicopter at least 15 minutes before any of his friends with NO help from me or Blaine.

 I loved taking these pictures of Jill's kids. Jill and I grew up together... she was Jill Beyersdorf then. And she's just as awesome now. It was so fun seeing her as this great mom to these beautiful kiddos.
