I practiced a bit more today with my manual settings... and Jaana came to hang out with us on the beach--and grabbed my camera and snapped more than a few pictures with it of my little family. It's nice having a friend who just happens to be a professional photographer. I just love how these turned out. (Hers and mine.)

Today, we hit Old Town in San Diego. It was fun panning for gold at the Mormon Battalion Museum. We even ate at The Cosmopolitan again. It was fun. Afterward, we hit the beach again for a bit. It's always nice to have our own family time. 

This is Judy Miller--turns out she's my Nannie's neighbor and ward friend.
