Wac-a-Kid

My friend at work likened teaching to playing Wac-a-Mole a while back and I've never laughed harder. Having just begun two new semester classes (Creative Writing) this week, I feel her pain. I don't know what happened... it seems I have every ADD kid at Alta High School and they're all loaded into my shrinking classroom. Seriously, these classes are HUGE! We'll see how it all turns out but so far, I'm a little nervous.

My wife absolutly loves this game and she is very competative at it. By the way, I did get your posts! I am glad we are blogging friends once more!

Aw! I feel your pain. The first semester I took over Creative Writing they put 49 in my class. Apparetnly the word had spread to the seniors that it would count as English credit. But, I'm sure all those little darlings heard what an awesome teacher Mrs. Carter was. Seriously, how could they resist?
But, to tell you the truth, creative writing is the one class I miss teaching. Have fun!

Haha! I can't tell you how many times I've had to say, "sit down" "shut up" "put your phone away" "where's your assigned seat" and on and on and on.
