All the leaves are gone from our neighborhood... but this one at Arctic Circle was holding strong.
Poor Jakey burned his hands on the fireplace. It was quite the ordeal.
Here he is a little happier. Mom got smart and wrapped them up air-tight.
Turkey, Bacon, Avocado on Foccacia. Best thing on Kneader's menu.
Winter Wonderland.
Style savvy winter goddess.
Making Coke Cake for dinner guests.
Getting my Christmas on a little early. Big plans for the mantle this year.
Wreath #2.
Wreath #3.
Wreath #4.
The final product. Thanks, Blaine for building the frame for me.
Poor Woody was in time out all day. I finally talked Jake into letting him out but Sarah promtly put him back in the corner. She said he "hit" her. Hmmmm...
CandyLand is serious business.
Thanksgiving tree for Family Night/Preschool.
Thanksgiving feast apple turnovers with a little cranberry sauce. Sooooooo good.
Michelle won Jake's heart when she brought him back a shiny, new cozy cone cup from Disney's Cars Land. This boy couldn't be happier... and he's almost completely forgotten that his mom left his last one on top of the car in Vegas. Oops.
Happy guy.
Christmas went up early this year at our house... like, before Thanksgiving early. I figured with a New Mexico Thanksgiving and a New York City trip for Blaine and me right after, I should just go for it. Worth it. In fact--I may start doing this every year we go out of town for Thanksgiving.

Preschool and the letter J
The letter J was our week to host Preschool again. We had a fun with jars, jellybeans, jellyfish, and jumping. We were also lucky enough to play host to a Thanksgiving feast. We invited moms and brothers and sisters to join us. It was fun.
I just love this group of kids... and these moms are the absolute best!
Ashleigh, Molly, Lily, Sarah, Ty, Hartley, and Jake.

"Touch a Truck"
Waaaaaayy back in October, we went to the Salt Lake City "Touch a Truck" event. My dad came in town to man the bucket truck for Altec and of course, my mom tagged along. Jake (and Sarah) were in heaven running from truck to truck and yep--Jakey was brave enough this year to go up with Pop Pop and Daddy.
I was just happy that Sarah got to wear her pretty new poncho.
Here's Jake getting all geared up for his ride.
Even Sarah braved the bucket. Cute bunch, eh?

Cool, old fire engine.
Taking turns driving the big rig.
Say "cheese!"

Scott was hired for the day to help out my dad this year. Pretty sweet deal.
I'm not going to lie. I laughed hard watching my mom freak out trying to get in... Scott let her sweat it out until someone told her there were steps on the outside and inside of the buckets.
Poor mom.
We thought it looked like "Red" from "Cars".
Say "cheese!"

The ipad in the morning is a glorious thing.
Sweet baby girl. (Won't be the baby for much longer...)
Sick baby girl.
My view while nursing a bloody nose. Darn pregnancy.
