The Lion King

We went last night and it was amazing. Seriously, the costumes are so incredible and really have to be experienced to "get it". So cool.
Thanks, Blaine for the awesome birthday present.
Thanks, Michelle for sitting the kids. You saved us. Really.
Thanks, Lizzy for hanging out with me during intermission and showing me pictures of those boys of yours. They are perfect.

You have inspired me to check and see if anything exciting is coming to the Portland stage. So far, zero of interest. However, Young Frankenstein (the musical!) is coming to the SLC Capitol Theater in the spring. Tickets anyone?

It was fun to see you! One Friday we will need to walk our babies to MY holiday oil for diet cokes. I live within a mile of one now and it is a dream come true.

Oh, I really liked this as well. Scott and I saw it in NYC 7 years ago this week! How funny..I just thought of that. I don't mean to sound like a snob..."when I was in Italy"..."I saw it in NYC"...but you know how fun the theatre is in NYC...
The costumes are really quite remarkable. I am impressed with people's abilities to creat things like that!
ok, that's all...and I like you!

We "almost" went to this one...the problem was, our kids would've wanted to go and, while I'm fine telling them NO, it's easier to justify not taking them to see Drowsy Chaperone next month at Hale than it is to not take them to see Lion King.

Still...hoping to see it one of these years. Sounds like a great production. :)

We went to it at Disney World in 2005. I loved it, but the kids got a little bored. We are going to catch it again in Oct. though. I think they are old enough now to enjoy it.
